Hi everyone! This is my blog. My name is Alondra Paz Cruz Biagetti, I'm 19 years old and I love dancing. I'm a first year student of the English Teaching Program in Universidad Arturo Prat.

General Reflection

I liked to do this kind of works because the topics were too interestings. The process was hard but good, I learnt rules of punctuation, types of sentences, paragraph structures, connectors and too much more! I'm so happy because I think that I grow during this semester and I hope I continue learning and applying these rules. Thank you for everything...

Pre-writing: Brainstorm

Practice, dance, hang out, listen to music, watch TV, watch movies, surf on the Internet, chat, study, drink, party, eat, cellphone, exercises.

Reflexion

I like the brainstorm, it helps you a lot for writing a draft and after a finally work. It helps you because it is very simple and you write everything that comes to your mind and then you start to sort and dismiss some ideas that are not relevant. It is a good support tool for the beginning.

First Draft: Why I prefer the night?

This was my first draft and I learnt because the teacher reviewed my grammar and my connectors, I learned very well for my second draft because I had less mistakes than the first one.

With this second review, I learnt to change the word "things" for more meaningful words and connectors and also I learnt how to join more the ideas for my final paragraph.

Of course I'm a night owl...

I love night, for me it's the best time to do the things that I like or things that I must do. For example, I start the "night period" like 8 pm, I eat my dinner and I prepare myself to go to my dance practice. I dance from 9 pm until 11.30 pm and then I come back home. In that hour, I start to study or revise a little bit my homework or duties. Later, I dedicate to myself. I surf on the Internet while I listen to music. After that, I go to bed to watch TV and sleep. On weekends I do the same, but I hang out with my friends too. I love night because I feel energy, no pressures and I like to appreciate how the moon looks.

Reflexion

This work was easy to do it because the teacher checked my punctuation and grammar. I liked to do it because the topic was simple but interesting and now I enjoy it more because it's good with all the corrections and free of mistakes and that means that your work can be read it for everyone!

Second Free-writing: A song

Rockstar 101 - Rihanna featuring Slash


Music makes me feel free, it is the most important thing in my life because it is in all my day-to-day. Talking about a song, I like Rockstar 101 of the famous and wonderful singer Rihanna featuring the expert guitar player Slash from Guns N's Roses. I love it because of the guitars and the voice and also the drums. It's an amazing song.

First Free-writing: Pets

I love my pet. I have a dog, his name is Bambino, he is a poodle. In February 17th he will have 2 years old (talking about human age). He is very friendly and lovely. He loves playing with the ball and sleep with us. He is very loyal and he is another member of the family.

I love my mom!

She is a beautiful woman (for me), medium height and plump and she is in her mid-fifties. She has oval and hazel eyes; shoulder lenght, curly and light brown hair and olive skin.
My mom is a brave woman because she is unafraid of difficult situations and for that she is very cautious in those moments. As a mother, she is pretty affectionate and extremely reliable. As a teacher she is very dedicated, determined and witty doing her work. Finally she is an honest and independent woman for all the sacrifices that she has done during her life. I admire her and of course I love her!

My favourite place

         I like to go to and overlook that I know, it is placed in the upper part of Huayquique beach. I like it because is close and far of the sea at the same time, the beach is always quiet, peaceful and calm. It has a carpark so I can park and turn on the music. I go when I'm happy, angry, sad or whatever. I like to go alone or with friends to have important conversations. It's nice to think and talk while I'm looking at the calm sea.

Oktapodi Story!

Once upon a time, there were a happy and lovely couple of octopuses in a tank loving each other like always. Suddenly a human hand appeared and took the female octopus out of the tank for selling her. He put her in the cooler of a costumer and the costumer took his car and drive away. The male octopus saw all this scene and rapidly he ran to the car and started to fight with the driver. In the meanwhile, the female octopus saw her octopus husband fighting with the man and she escaped from the cooler, took his husband and run away jumping and swimming.After all the conflict, the driver fell down to the sea with his car and the octopuses were in a rope happy because they were alive and together, but not everything could be happiness. Suddenly, a seagull took the male octopus flew away with him. The female octopus was angry for the situation, so with the assistance of the rope, she pounced on the seagull and save his husband. Finally, they jumped into the ocean without risks and started a family life leaving all the problems of the past away.
